Dr. Srilatha Chepure is a highly accomplished academician and administrator with a profound commitment to fostering academic excellence and ethical values in higher education. She has a rich background in Electronics and Communication Engineering, specializing in Embedded Systems. She holds a Ph.D. from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad, in Computer Science Engineering with a focus on cache configuration for low-power real-time embedded systems. With 20 years of experience, Dr. Chepure currently serves as a Professor in the ECE department and holds the position of Registrar, Aurora Deemed University, Hyderabad. She is the youngest ratified Principal in the State of Telangana. She is also actively involved in various administrative roles, including serving as the Director and Principal and holding key positions such as Member Secretary of the Board of Governors. Dr. Chepure's academic expertise spans a range of areas, including Embedded Systems, Real-Time Systems, Internet of Things and Distributed Systems. She has actively contributed to curriculum development, including the establishment of laboratories, and facilities like e-learning centre and e-governance cell. As an accomplished researcher, she has edited 02 books on Embedded systems and published more than 25 papers in various reputed journals of high impact factor.
She is currently guiding 04 Research scholars. In addition to her academic and research accomplishments, she demonstrated strong leadership in workshops, faculty development programs, and short-term courses. She has conducted workshops on IoT, embedded systems, and other cutting-edge technologies, contributing to the professional development of her peers. Her commitment to continuous learning is evident in her attendance at seminars, refresher courses, and training programs focused on governance, management development, and independent study techniques.
Dr.Chepure has received prestigious awards, including the Career Young Teacher Award AICTE. Beyond academia, she has engaged in consultancy work as a Domain Expert at Artifacts Pvt Ltd, Hyderabad, and serves as an expert at the Indian Science Technology and Engineering facilities, promoted by the office of the Principal Scientific Adviser to the Government of India. She is an empanelled assessor at the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). She delivered key note sessions on quality assurance, NEP 2020, Teaching learning and pedagogy at numerous academic platforms. She is an excellent speaker, strategic planner and vision-oriented. Her dedication to education, research, and administration reflects a holistic approach to fostering excellence in engineering institutions, making her a valuable asset to the academic community.
