Previously, he worked as an Assistant Professor and Placement Coordinator at IIIT RGUKT Basar University for seven years. He has a total of 17 years of experience in teaching, research, and administration. His research areas include Machine Learning, Data Mining, Deep Learning, and Artificial Intelligence. He is a member of several professional bodies such as CSTA, IAENG, IFERP, IAO, UACEE, and more.

Er. Ravikanth has authored a book titled Artificial Intelligence Tools and Applications (ISBN: 9789361320071) and holds a patent titled Machine Learning Integrated Blockchain Model for Industry 4.0, Smart Applications. He has published 14 research papers in various international conferences and journals. He also serves as a review member for over 21 international journals and has acted as a scientific committee member for more than 14 international conferences.

He has received several awards, including the KALPA ACHARYA AWARD, YUVA ACHARYA AWARD, and TEACHERS GLORY AWARD, among others, for his contributions. Er. Ravikanth has also been a mentor and UI/UX judge for the Smart India Hackathon for three consecutive years. Additionally, he has been involved in consultancy projects in collaboration with MGNCRE and other organizations.

He has been invited as a resource person/guest speaker for over 74 sessions, including guest lectures, webinars, workshops, FDPs, STTPs, and conferences. He has also organized numerous conferences, FDPs, webinars, industrial visits, and workshops to motivate staff and students, guiding them on the latest tools and technologies.
